Our Future

We are proud of our achievements but recognise that there is still a huge amount of work to be done. Our pilot project of Positive Youth News has enabled us to identify great scope for developing an active network of Positive Youth Journalists at local, national and international levels and we are ideally placed to achieve this vision.

Our latest business plan sets out our proposal for building on the success of our youth-led, Positive Youth News pilot and growing the project to inspire, train and involve 792 young volunteer journalists over the next three years.

Recently, there has been considerable focus in the mainstream media on the environmental and social challenges we face. Over the past thirteen years Positive News Trust (previously GlobalNET) has supported reporting on the positive human enterprises and endeavours which seek solutions to these challenges.

We continue tobuild our capacity to share our knowledge and expertise in order to build a more positive future for everyone.
